On Saturday, August 17, five Dignity/Seattle members joined other volunteers from several parishes in packing 400 backpacks with school supplies. Towards this endeavor Dignity/Seattle contributed eighty 16GB USB flash drives that were included in the backpacks specifically going to teenagers. A
No Flying Fish but plenty of canned salmon to feed the hungry in Western Washington. Paula, Tish, Laure, and Alan joined with volunteers from other organizations on Tuesday, August 6 to inspect and repackage canned salmon for distribution to Food Banks the following morning.
